Almost time to go!!
After many practices, fundraisers, questions and support we are excited and ready to go to India! Our bags are getting packed, ministry suitcases are full and all of our practicing is done. Now we are praying and hoping we don't forget anything important. :) We had our last practice tonight (Tuesday) going over songs and our testimonies one final time. Each and everyone of us feels blessed to be able to experience the love that Jesus has for everyone through this trip! We want to thank everyone for all of the support that you have given us.

Rachel called this morning around 9:30 a.m. to say the team had safely landed in San Francisco. At 1:40 p.m., Christy called...they were still in San Francisco. The plane was having some maintenance done—nothing serious. Rachel called again around 6:30 p.m. ...That's right, still in San Francisco. Apparently, there was no maintenance crew on duty. I think she said they sat on the plane for 4 hours before they were allowed to disembark. Oh, the joys of traveling! There was a lot of laughter in the background as we spoke. I think everyone is quite loopy at this point, having been up since 3:30 a.m.—or 3, for those who had to do their hair. They won't have a day to acclimate now. They'll hit the ground running when they get to India! Our prayers go with them!

It is nearly 10 p.m. and Rachel just called from the Sheraton in San Francisco. At one point, the team was told they would be able to get to England tomorrow, but the last word was that they had lost their tickets to England and India. They have been in prayer all day and will continue tonight. Let's join them, and God's will be done. Amen.
